Here’s what Infoworld has to say:

Microsoft prepares ‘Albany’ to compete with Google Docs
Albany will combine Office, Office Live Workspaces, Windows Live OneCare, and the Windows Live suite of services as a package of productivity and hosted apps

Microsoft says that eventually they will offer something very close to MS Office but hosted online
